DCC’s financial aid priority deadline is December 1st

Step 1: Get your FSA ID (user name and password). enabling you to “sign” your online FAFSA. If you are a dependent, at least one parent must get their FSA ID (user name and password).

Step 2: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after October 1st as possible, and before the priority deadline of December 1st if possible. Apply online at www.studentaid.gov,listing DCC’s Federal Title IV school code (002529) so we receive the results.

Step 3: Review your Student Aid Report (SAR) 2 to 3 days after you submit your online FAFSA. If necessary, make changes or corrections at www.fafsa.gov.

Step 4: Respond to requests for additional information from DCC’s Financial Aid Office.

Step 5: Receive notification of the availability of your award offer from DCC. Log into your DCC ‘MyInfo’ account to accept or decline individual funds. Contact the DCC Financial Aid Office at 406-377-9444 or 800-821-8320  ext. 9444, if you have any questions about the aid you have been offered.
