Third annual event to take place on October 18-19
Dawson Community College will be hosting its Third Annual Eastern Montana Educational Symposium on October 18 and 19, 2018.
Each year, DCC’s Workforce Development and Continuing Education staff take feedback from K-12 education leaders and evaluations of previous events to provide specialized training for Montana’s educators. This year, DCC is offering a wide variety of sessions on topics related to special education, educational leadership, educational technology, dealing with trauma, supporting American Indian students, and more.
The two-day event will begin at 7:30 a.m. each day in DCC’s Toepke Center. Sessions will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. following a brief introduction and room assignments. Morning sessions run until noon, and afternoon sessions run from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Renewal units and one college credit are available. To receive the credit, two full-day sessions are required.
Participants are asked to register by October 15. Registration information and full session descriptions are available at www.dawson.edu.
