SUMMARY OF WORK:

This adjunct teaching position will be responsible for teaching PHSX 220/221 Physics I and Lab (w/calculus); a calculus-based physics sequence for students of engineering, chemistry, geology, and similar fields of the physical sciences. It includes topics in mechanics (such as motion, Newton’s Laws, conservation laws, and rotation), material properties, and fluids.

Lab: A series of laboratory experiences illustrating and supporting concepts studied in PHSX220.

Spring 2019 class offering is January 23, 2019 to May 16, 2019. Adjunct can create schedule for class.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Physics or similar subject with 9 credit hours in Physics
